The jam ended with this in a broken state. Oh well. I'll finish fixing it anyway.

Three years ago my friend and I experienced telepathy while tripping out in the woods.
Not so uncommon actually. People explain it as reading body language. But out of everything that happened the one thing that seemed very implausible is how we both hallucinated that we were sent to a moment in the past at the very same camping spot. We saw each other wearing old clothes from back then.
There was no speaking. Only the occasionally glance away from the fire to each other. We confirmed our shared hallucination afterwards. Is it really possible to share such a specific hallucination like that from mere dimly campfire lit glances or is there something more? If so, how? And the only thing that really matters: Is there a way to test it?
We analyzed the experience deeply and concluded that we had not communicated any information. Which would explain why typical tests like Zener cards fail.
Yet, there was a heightened correlation between our actions, thoughts, and feelings. Telempathy is a better word for it.
Quantum entanglement allows for heightened correlations without information transfer.
I suspect the brain is capable of quantum processes. And this test will try to exploit that.
This experiment based off the Mermin–Peres magic square game from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_pseudo-telepathy
Basically: Up to a 8/9 chance to win without quantum entanglement. 100% chance with.
With enough data, it will not be too hard to check if players are doing better than the null hypothesis that nothing is going on.
The unknown surrounding this experiment is how to synchronize two people.
Psychedelic/dissociative states seem to help. I suspect music helps too. Beat detection is pretty fundamental[1]. The beat may encourage some form entrainment, like metronomes on a skateboard.
Currently players are matched randomly to ensure fairness. Tests where subjects listen to the same music should be done too.
Thanks for reading.
